PEFC certification – on its own or combined with FSC®
PEFC is Germany's most widespread forest certification. Many companies run PEFC and FSC® in one combined system.
PEFC Chain of Custody
The PEFC chain of custody standard PEFC ST 2002:2020 governs how PEFC-certified material is documented along the supply chain. It includes a due diligence system that excludes material from controversial sources. Use of the PEFC logo is governed by PEFC ST 2001:2020.
